Awards Record for 2021
1&2.Assistant Professor Chih-cheng liu from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering guided students to participate in the "2021 International Intelligent Robot Sports Competition - Social Distance Edition" on August 7-8, 2021, and won first place in the small all-around humanoid robot category for archery. They also won first place in the basketball category.
3.Professor Ching-Chang Wong from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering guided students to participate in the same competition and won third place in the weightlifting category.
4.Professor Chun-Fei Hsu guided student to participate in the "29th Conference on Fuzzy Theory and Its Applications" from October 5-8, 2021, presenting a paper titled "Development of Intelligent Object Tracking Technology for Two-Wheeled Balancing Vehicles," and won second place in the student paper competition.
5.Professor Yang-Han Lee guided students to participate in the "2021 Taiwan Innotech Expo" from October 13-16, 2021, with their project "Animal Specimen Picking Device and System," winning a silver medal in the invention competition.
6.Professor Chien-Hsing Chou guided students to participate in the "2021 National College and University Smart Innovation and Cross-domain Integration Creation Competition" on October 17, 2021, with their project "Game-based Braille Learning System," winning second place in the somatosensory interactive technology category.
7.Professor Chien-Hsing Chou guided students to participate in "2021 National College and University Smart Innovation and Cross-domain Integration Creation Competition" on October 17, 2021,with their project "Interactive Tongue Muscle Training Device Combined with AI," winning second place in the digital sustainable technology category.
8.Professor Jen-Shiun Chiang guided students to participate in the "2021 IET Engineering Technology and Applications Conference" on November 26-27, 2021, presenting a paper titled "Guide-based Dual-layer Network for Super-resolution Images Based on EfficientNet," and won the Best Paper Award.
9.The robot development team, guided by Professor Ching-Chang Wong, Associate Professor Shi-An Li, and Assistant Professor Chih-cheng liu, consisting of 15 students, participated in the "FIRA (Federation of International Robosports Association) SimulCup 2021" held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, from December 3-5, 2021. They won multiple championships in the "Humanoid Robot Category (HuroCup)" and "Tele-Operation Robot Arm Competition," achieving a total of 4 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medals.
